I'm still here, still painting, a tiny inlet at a time.

Due to family circumstances and childcare issues, my time in the studio has withered to almost nothing, but I am still working away. Right now, I'm focusing on building a strong portfolio of abstract maps to accompany my more detailed, specific work. Abstract work - which never particularly interested me until I started painting - captures my attention intently now, whether I'm viewing it or painting it. This is inextricably intertwined with a personal journey that has shifted from my normal deeply analytical thinking to more philosophical, abstract thinking. So I may not be getting much time in the studio, but it has been deeply fulfilling.
