Why am I doing this?
At the end of 2019, I went on looking for self-learning Arabic and Qur'an sources on the internet to help a friend who converted to Islam and wanted to learn more, but surprisingly I found very few sources available. There were almost no channels that offered dependable, methodical sources that offered lessons in consistency. I took it upon myself to do something about this, and alhamdulilah I started Arabic101 to help those who want to learn Arabic and/ or Qur'an properly. And since learning happens best where there's interaction, I promised myself, to do what I can to keep the communication going on with anyone who is interested to learn more. So I am always there to help.

Who am I?
My name is Islam, and these are my qualifications:
- A Master degree in teaching methodology and didactics.
- A Master degree in linguistics and language acquisition.
- A first degree teaching license.
- A bachelor degree in English language and literature.

I worked on the following research:
- The correlation between language aptitude and mathematical skills.
- A review study on the methodology of teaching literature to L2 students.

Why Patreon?

This channel started with completely using DIY tools to get the videos out there. Getting more advanced tools will help advance the quality of the video. If I can give more time to producing lessons, I'll be able to make more videos since a single video can take up to 8 hours or work and sometimes even more so.
