Hey! My name is B.J. Mendelson, and I'm a comic book writer, former journalist, and author of such books as "Privacy: And How We Get It Back" (Curious Reads) and "Social Media Is Bullshit" (St. Martin's Press).

I've previously contributed to CNN, Fast Company, and The Wall Street Journal. So basically, a bunch of other places your parents might think is cool.

I also happen to be a fan of professional wrestling.

So, I am launching a new interview show called "15 Minute Time Limit." The show will run fifteen minutes (or less!) and feature interviews with your favorite personalities from the world of indie wrestling and fans of the genre.

The show will always be free to listen to, so why do I have this Patreon page? Doing a high-quality podcast is not cheap. Every contribution made by fans of the show keep us advertising-free and, once we hit our goal, professionally edited, distributed, and managed. That means you'll never have to go digging for old episodes, and new episodes will be delivered straight to your favorite podcasting app.

I have two funding goals. The first, at $2,000, will allow me to hire Podcast Motor to professionally edit, produce, and distribute, all of these interviews as well as upgrade production of the actual show when it's being recorded.

The second, at $5,000, will allow me and Peter Czaplarski to continue working on our professional wrestling-themed comic book, "Jobbers", which we will distribute for free as a high quality .pdf to all our patrons.

I hope you'll chip in. The pro wrestling podcast scene is packed with people talking about the big leagues, so I want to do something fun, short, and different while supporting everyone out there working their ass off on the indies.

Who do you want to see on the show? Send all tips, suggestions, and other (constructive) feedback on the show to [email protected] or text me at 646-331-8341. This show is meant for you, so I want it to be the best it can be.

At this level, we can cover the work done by Podcast Motor each month. This work includes Professional editing, podcast hosting, transcriptions for each episode, and post-production services of the show.

This will allow the show to always be commercial free and keep the episode archives freely accessible to everyone.
