I Write  1Write  is an author whom lost everything four years ago chasing dreams and now frolics and gambols about the United States collecting experiences to share through verse and stories. Some about life, some about passion, some to answer questions you never thought of before; but ALL are about love.

I do not roam to be alone, but because I have no home and know no people who find my unique gifts worthy of assistance. In these journey's I have stumbled upon this amazing site to help support creative geniuses like me. Now I am here in my humble and sincere humility to seek sponsorship and patronage from those with the love and ability that I may continue to display and use my talents in pursuit of making dreams, like publishing children's books, I embarked upon so long ago.

I can only assume if you have manged to grace me with your time by reading this far down, you desire to know a bit more about me then my feeble attempts to wheedle support from you; so here it goes...

I am a U.S. Army Veteran who served four years in the service during the late 90's, to include a tour with NATO in Bosnia. Where I served in an aide de camp capacity for the division intelligence office. A position, which afforded me many unique experiences and learning opportunities apart from what the majority of men and women deployed with me were given. Shortly after leaving the military and hopping around from a few industrial and construction jobs I embarked upon another life milestone.

Realizing I was not satisfied with the employment options in the physical labor areas that my prior work history had qualified me for and having a young daughter looking up to me as a role model, I decided to go back to school. At the same time I made another big move leaving my childhood home in Iowa and heading west to Colorado. A state I fell in love with while serving time at Ft. Carson in the military. This time, however, I settled in a small town just outside of Denver called Arvada ( a neighbor of the famous Golden, CO). It is in Golden I attended a small school called the
Colorado School of Mines (CSM), one of two in the country (the other is in Wyoming). CSM is a leader in engineering school's for the mining and energy industries although it was not until after I was deep into my engineering curriculum that I realized this. There are many things that signifies this university among the competition and if you involve yourselves with any of my Q&A opportunities I am more than happy to discuss them. Graduating university made me the first in my family to receive a degree - not that they were impressed - and opened doors into a professional environment that I truly enjoyed. The fast pace and variation of projects we worked on in onshore midstream & upstream oil and gas projects helped keep my ever active mind continually engaged in something new and interesting; then reality set in.

After five years in the industry my company's parent operation (
WoodGroup in Scotland) was restructuring and combining many of their various subsidiaries. My office became more of a satellite for "side-work" and not complete projects from the larger organization in Houston. Less work and less excitement coupled with management's failure to recognize or reward talent exhausted me. Listening and paying attention to the clients arguments and concerns that seemed a repetitive plague in our business in December of 2012 I decided to break off and begin pursuing my own venture. As I felt I could make a difference in how operations worked from the traditional methods with new practices others in foreign regions of work were having great success with; sort of a "sharing mentality" is how it was built and pitched. Meant to take two or three separate entities and have them perform more as a team rather than individual heads, as is custom. And although received well at first in short time other larger entities did not approve of the disruption I was making or its positive results and I soon found everyone in industry's doors shutting by October of 2013.

With a bitter after taste left in my mouth I switched gears and began helping small business around me under the belief that it may lead to employment in another area that I enjoyed, helping others learn from my mistakes, if not help my struggling business gain new life. It was during this period that finances overtook me and I lost my apartment, car etc. due to lack of ability to pay (not that I had much debt anyway). Still trying to focus on small business efforts I hopped around to a few friends houses (or I thought they were friends), but it turns out most of all of them were not able to offer me the camaraderie, which I had given them over the years. This left me turning to family, who also had no care or concern of my tireless pursuit of the American dream. In April of 2014 after a short visit back home my closet relatives ushered me out of their house. So, having no where else to turn I figured it would be better to take my journey to the streets of California where it is at least modestly warm through the winter. Let this be a lesson NOT ALL HOMELESS PEOPLE ARE DRUG ADDICTS, ALCOHOLICS, OR MENTALLY UNSTABLE there are some of us who just really have NO where else to go.

In my spare time while business advising I began doing a lot of commenting and writing on social media sites more specifically music (see people haven't always been there for me, but music has). Having an extreme amount of time on my hands in CA I continued writing and volunteering my time at the
MLK Library. It was during this time I rediscovered an old favorite of mine, writing. I write a myriad of things, but mostly enjoy rhyming children's stories with a several things that don't on the surface seem to connect (like putting ET in a Taylor Swift Video). Surprisingly as I finally completed one of these works it tied together nicely with an overall theme and message [none of its excerpts exist on this site yet, the examples here are small pieces of other works that are well under development] and too if you join me in the latter tiers of support on this page you will be able to sample pieces of it, my most completed work.

**Majority of work including this header video was completed using
Microsoft
