Who are we?
Co-hosts: Pete Mohrbacher and Sam Flegal
We're full-time self-employed fantasy artists, family men and broadcasters. Drawing dragons, zombies and elves is our day to day. When we aren't painting an orc or whatever, we love to talk to our friends about art and business. We're always learning for each other, and this is why we made One Fantastic Week.
What's the show?
Every week, we talk to our friends and colleagues about the stuff we normally talk about when we meet up. How's your week? What are you working on? How'd you make that painting? Etc. Etc. It's normal fantasy artist stuff for us, but its a weird little bubble. We realized that the idle chit chat about contracts and brushes is fun to share in public and educational for anyone trying to learn the trade.
One Fantastic Week records episodes live on Google Hangout every Tuesday at 10am central. If you join us, you can drop questions in our chat or just give us a digital high five. It's all uploaded to a YouTube archive so you can watch it whenever you want for free.
Why Patreon?
We're not charging for anything related to the show, but it takes a little time and little money to run it. If fans of the show want to help support us, then that would be great. We'll use the money to buy better equipment and recoup some of our costs.
