3killabyte is a YouTube show that focuses on Video Game Reviews, Movie Reviews, Geek Culture News & Interviews and soon to be Video Game Inspired Short Films. Join Kat, Jason, and Terence as they throw down a raw and unbiased take that you can count on.
We have been creating Video Game Culture content since October 2009 and have evolved immensely over the past five years. With your support, we plan on taking 3killabytes to the next level!
Much effort goes into the production of every video we share with you on YouTube. From analysing and researching the subject of each video (playing video games/watching movies/etc) to filming, exporting, editing, encoding, uploading, and most importantly, actively interacting with our viewers through social media outlets...on average, this process takes anywhere from 5-8 hours for general videos and 8-20 hours per Video Game review. As of March 8, 2014, we have released 636 videos. This journey has been remarkably rewarding as we have had the pleasure of offering the Video Game Community a real and unbiased alternative to major internet outlets.
Now here is where you can help 3killabytes!
1. Game Content: To be blunt, we want to review more games including multi-console releases (think Watch Dogs PS4/XB1/Wii U comparisons). With PS4, XB1, Wii U, PC, PS Vita and 3DS, it is currently out of our reach due to financial limitations to be able to cover all the games we want to share with you. We are on pace to review at least 50 Video Games this year alone and with prices on the rise in Canada, this is a staggering number of games to purchase and cover. With your support, we will review as many games as possible across all platforms mentioned above.
2. Production Gear Quality Upgrades: This includes improving the audio of our show, as well as our shooting set, camera, and editing computers. With your support, 3killabytes will look and sound better than ever before!
