Year Long Account Subs!
$200 per month
At this point, I can comfortably pay out for a year's subscription fees for SoundCloud Premium Unlimited.
New GPU and PSU
$450 per month
I'm in need of a better GPU - I have a little passive-cooled card at the moment which was a stopgap solution. I really need something a bit more powerful and better cooled. I'm also going to need a better PSU, as I suspect I'll be running my tower a lot more often.
Mac Mini
$600 per month
I really should get a second hand old Mac Mini for testing, repackaging and maybe even some Mac-based gamedev. Mostly the first 2, so I can repackage RPGMaker games under my own steam rather than relying on others for help.
Asset packs!
$700 per month
I'll gather up all the resources, assets and other material I've made, and release it all as one big download for everyone to use - for free and commercial projects.

About

I'm a 20-something transmale independent game developer, artist, writer and open source supporter.

I like to make games about LGBT+ folks, friendship, love, orcs, innkeeping, why people have one eye less than the general population...I vary quite a bit. Check out my website for further links to my games.

Hey guys! I make video games! I released 9 completed games in 2014, mostly RPGs or interactive stories. After a bit of a break away over winter while I did a CompTIA course, I'm throwing myself back into the fray, as it were. Already released one game with a group in 2015 as part of Jam For Leelah - I did all the art and half the script of the visual novella Acceptance.

I could go on the usual "game development was my childhood dream" line we kind of expect these days...It's true, but it's not as important as what I've accomplished so far.

For starters, here's my Itch.io page, which currently holds 5 games. My two paid games (Arina's Story and The Apprentice Innkeeper's Test) are currently set to private while I add more content.

In contrast, GameJolt holds one complete game (which can be found on Itch.io anyway) and one "in progress" game - my first attempt at a top-down shooter, Pew Pew!

And for a real blast from the past (early 2014), we have a handwritten text adventure in Python, Resurrection, and a rot.js-based roguelike, MiningRL.

My DeviantArt page holds a massive variety of work - Embroidery, digital art, pixel art, comics and Hexels stuff, to name a few.  I've even dabbled in streaming games on Hitbox, even taking part in a weekend streaming event for charity.

I turn to Patreon for a few reasons. Main one being, I can't focus entirely on game development properly at the moment because I'm jumping to the tune of the Jobcentre. Ideally I'd like to be free from that obligation and able to pursue game development and other creative ventures with a regular income. Secondly, I like the idea that people can tangibly support me doing cool things - shows me that I might be doing the right, or at least interesting things.

What do you get in return? A weekly roundup of everything produced in the last 7 days, plus updates on projects - and a mention on the credits of every game you help me make through funding. There may be extra stuff, like access to beta builds, if people are interested.

I hope you'll consider supporting me! If you want to support me on an alternative system to Patreon or would like to commission something from me, ask me on Twitter or send me an email at [email protected], we can work something out.
