I was surprised to learn that I had ADHD when my therapist brought it up last year. I was 37 and my life was full of struggles. Of course I had known about ADHD but I always assumed I was just lazy and tired.

Since that day I have learned so much more about ADHD. I started ADHDsuprise.com and the ADHDsurprise YouTube Channel as platforms with the primary goals of raising awareness of ADHD and sharing supports and resources for all who are struggling with ADHD.

Aside from sharing my own stories, I use my site to help others share their stories. ADHD voices is a weekly series that brings you the ADHD journey of a real person using their own words. The more we can destigmatize conversations around mental health and the more of us who are willing to share our stories, the more we all realize that we are not alone.

Aside from running my site, I run a free ADHD Support Group on Discord and also am active on Twitter. All of this takes a great deal of time each week. As a Patreon supporter, you will enable me to continue raising awareness of ADHD on these platforms while I continue to seek more ways to reach even larger audiences.

Thanks for reading!
$2 of $100 per month
My first goal of $100 per month will help defray the actual costs of developing and maintaining ADHDsuprise.com as well as resources used for gathering content that I share with my readers. This includes website design, domain renewal, web hosting, content curation, purchase of books related to ADHD, and paying for access to other ADHD resources.
