Milestone Goals
House Show Season!
$200 per Song
This Fall and Winter, instead of focusing on landing "big gigs" I'm focusing on staying in with you. I love small intimate shows, and I've noticed that when it get's cold and wet we all would rather stay cozy and hang out with our friends at a place that doesn't have a fancy dress code and doesn't require hiking from your parking spot in the rain: your home. This money helps me ensure that house shows can stay by donation, making them accessible for everyone.
Going to Chicago for CD Baby Conference
$400 per Song
This October I'm going to Chicago for CDBaby's DIY Musician conference. My flights cost around $300. I'm hoping I can find a place to stay, but it would be good to have emergency money and food money for the weekend.
Finishing that Sharp Teeth music video that's happening
$2,000 per Song
There's a saying: Fast, Good, or Cheep pick two.  I'm a stickler for quality so you can guess which two I picked.  The music video will happen, but a little money will help it happen faster AND better.
Professional Art and Printing in CD and Vinyl for the upcoming Feral as Folk Album
$8,000 per Song
It's amateur hour over here, but it doesn't have to be.  Help me put out the upcoming album with my band in a more beautiful way, with photos taken by people that know what they are doing NOT on an iphone! Having a graphic designer make things look great, saving you from the ten different fonts I want to use.  Also,  I want to put out our music on Vinyl which means getting it remastered.
The Pipe Dream
$15,000 per Song
I buy some sort of RV and I travel the country writing songs, singing in people's living rooms, writing and blogging and videoing all the while.

I've come a long way since I quit my day job in 2010. Now, I'm excited to share new music and to reach a bigger audience than ever before, but I need the help of the everyday awesome folks like you to pull it off.

If you're here, chances are it's because you like what I've done before. Maybe you've got a copy of my first album Heroically Lost, Heroically Found, or maybe you've only recently found out about me and my music. I want to assure you, I am always going to be writing and making music no matter how successful this patreon page is, but your financial support helps me make it better.  It gives me the funds to take my music on the road more often and farther out, so those of you on the East Coast may finally get a chance to see me in person.  It increases the speed that I can put out new stuff, not to mention it provides an incentive to always be creating.  It gives me the liberty to pass on some of the more time consuming tasks like P.R. or promoting my music to publishers The more I can delegate work to talented professionals the higher quality it's going to be and the faster I can put it out, not to mention not having to be a Jill of all trades means that I can focus on the reason we're all here: The music.
