I create YouTube videos about my solar shed and the tech I play with inside.

I like to trawl through eBay, Banggood and Amazon for solar charge controllers, battery chargers, solar panels, power banks and interesting modules but they have to be cheap!  I wouldn't be able to do this without the support of my viewers, but most importantly my Patreon patrons.

Sadly the advertising rates at youtube do not cover the costs of making videos and the 'not suitable for all advertisers' algorithm hits almost every video I upload these days.  Taking Patreon donations is going to enable me to continue making videos without being reliant on YouTube, sponsorship or free product reviews.

So thank you for your interest in my channel and Patreon page.  If you happen to leave me a little something I'll be hugely grateful and you'll get early access to my videos as a thank you.

Module
$1 or more per month 0 patrons
Just one dollar gives you access to all my posts here on Patreon, the discussion section and early access to most videos.

It will also allow me to buy a single interesting module to test and review in an up and coming video.  Thank you!

Cable
$2 or more per month 0 patrons
It's a funny world we live in - one dollar buys a module covered in ICs but two dollars will pay for the cable to connect to it! You'll still get early video access and the patreon only posts and discussions as well as my eternal thanks.
Gadget
$5 or more per month 0 patrons
Five dollars could pay for a gadget to play with.  Supporting me at this level is hugely generous and I will be extremely grateful.  You still get all the patreon perks and you also get a free warm feeling inside (subject to availability).
Goals
$2 of $1,000 per month
My little off grid shed has run out of space for solar panels.  $1000 will help me fit solar panels to the house.  A grid tied system will add an interesting dynamic to the channel, and the option to look at local energy storage rather than send any excess power to the grid.
