I spend a lot of time on the road traveling to communities teaching and sharing my work. I teach how to make rattles, drums, sacred tools for healing and I also teach how to awaken and be more aware of the world around us. This work has been supporting me and continues to be a source of inspiration and joy. It does not allow for me to be in the studio as much as I would like to focus in on my projects.
I currently live on land that is being cultivated as a retreat for sacred earth, art, and healing. I am developing programs to facilitate the knowledge I have in ways that can help others along the creative spiritual path. The land here is beautiful and wooded with lot's of wild plants and animals that offer a closeness to nature that creates a sense of belonging. It is an inspiring and safe place to explore deeper. This is where I create and work when I'm not on the road.
In order for that to move into the next phase in my creative growth, I need to be here on the land more and traveling less. I have been looking to finish several projects that require intense focused time in the studio. One is the book and Scroll Project which I have been slowly working on over that past few years. It is a hand drawn book that documents the creation of the universe. Utilizing specific light wave sensitive inks and the development of it's own language so everyone has to translate it in order to uncover its secrets. It would be bound in traditional book binding methods. Once the book is finished it would be displayed at public libraries around world for education and inspiration.
One of the other projects is digitally recording sounds and images for creating elevated brains states that can facilitate wellness in a similar manner as cultivated by traditional shamans healers all over the world.
Your donations would help to keep these projects going and give me the freedom from the road to be in the studio to make that happen.
