I'm a full-time student about to finish a four-year degree in Russian and Eurasian Studies, but my secondary passion is studying aviation safety. I always seek to understand what causes planes to crash and what is being done to prevent future accidents. I share this passion with a thriving community on Reddit by writing short but detailed articles, accompanied by pictures and animations made by third parties, to tell the stories of dozens of accidents. I not only explain the events that led to them, but also what changed afterward to make flying safer. I also enjoy answering users' questions in the comments, and I've created a subreddit to host additional articles about accidents for which sufficient visual material is unavailable.

I can't actually offer you anything more than a tier 3 contributor gets, but Patreon recommends that I have a tier for "$50-$100." If you're so dedicated that you give $50 to someone who writes about plane crashes on Reddit, kudos to you.
