Welcome to Patreon! I am so glad that you made it here :)
My name is Alishia McCullough (she, her) also known as @blackandembodied via Instagram. I am a millennial Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist; however I identify most with the roles of Mind-Body Healer, Storyteller, and Visionary. I am the independently published author of the poetry book Blossoming, and the author of the forthcoming book Reclaiming The Black Body.
My work centers of the lived experience, indigenous wisdom and expertise of Black people, and I work with Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of the Global Majority who exist at a variety of intersecting identities around our lived experience of social justice, embodiment, liberation, and healing. The areas that I have most interest in are decolonizing eating disorders and working with folks around racial trauma & healing. Professionally I offer coaching, consultation, and supervision around these areas as well.
I am also the co-founder of the Amplify Melanated Voices Movement which has been featured in magazines, blogs, and gained international following and engagement. I am also the Founder and visionary of Black and Embodied Counseling and Consulting PLLC and the founder of The Holistic Black Healing Collective community space. My work has been featured in Target, Essence, Bustle, Popsugar, and Forbes. You can find more at blackandembodied.com
Where will my money go?
Your monthly or yearly subscription will be your opportunity to pay to work with me to gain access to work that supports you. If you cannot financially access another offering that I have at the time, this is also an opportunity to get to know me and work with me in a more accessible way.
For subscribers of my lower tiered pricing, Your proceeds will also contribute to paying other Black women who I compensate for their valuable time and energy to support different projects and educational opportunities to keep this platform running.
I am optimistic that this Patreon will provide education, collaboration, poetry, writings, art, journal prompts song playlist and more opportunities to support and engage in community.
Thank you for being apart of the movement!
With love,
Alishia McCullough
