I'm a 23 year old game developer who likes creating visual novels. I am working on Destiny Fails Us and spending over 60/week on it.
I worked in a photography studio for 5 years taking "Olde Tyme" photos and I began freelance photography in my spare time taking photos at weddings and taking senior portraits. In College, I was a photography major. Unfortunately, after a while I realized I was unhappy with photography and began looking for something I could be passionate about.
Ever since I was little I've wanted to create stories. And since I also loved art, I began working on a webcomic. Eventually, I came across visual novels and fell in love with the medium. I began working on a visual novel for Destiny Fails Us. After months of hard work on a demo, I released it and launched a Kickstarter campaign for the full game. It was successful in October 2013.

Who Am I?
Hi, my name is Amelia but I prefer to go by Ame. I'm a game developer that spends an average of 14 hours/day working on my game, Destiny Fails Us. I really love story based games, and getting the chance to create one is a dream come true. And best of all, when I finish it, I'll be able to share it with those who has supported me during this time.Why?
When I first started using patreon, it was a very hard decision for me to make. I had just undergone surgery and was clueless on what I was going to do about my bills. I work countless hours on Destiny Fails Us, and I feel like I owe those who have supported me to continue working to the best of my ability and focus on delivering the best game I can make. It's my full time job, and I definitely work overtime. Unfortunately, that doesn't give me a paycheck, and I need a little help keeping up with the bills.
Why should you pledge to me? I am devoted to Destiny Fails Us. I work from when I wake up, until I fall asleep. I want to create the best game I can make, and I have so many people who have helped support me so far. I don't want to disappoint them, or myself. Any little donation I receive really clears up the stress cloud that's hovering over me.

Current Game Project: Destiny Fails Us
The story of Destiny Fails Us takes place in the Pacific Northwest in a fictional town of Moirai. It follows the life of Idril Ar'Feinel, a girl who spends too much time with video games and not enough on her homework.
Destiny Fails Us is a visual novel. The story is a mixture of romance, slice of life, and mystery. The game's story takes place in 3 acts. Depending on the choices made in the story, Idril may fall in love with one of the 6 love interests, weaken and gain friendships, and possibly raise her grades or focus on becoming a competitive gamer.
