Help Build the Ultimate Marine Ecology Drone
We're building a drone, but not just any drone. This quadcopter will have water take-off and landing capabilities and an array of ocean sensors. This drone will be deployed throughout the Chesapeake Bay with local researchers to help better understand our changing marine environment.

Hammerhead sharks have suffered tremendous declines in the last several decades and now face the threat of extinction. In partnership with colleagues at the University of Miami, we're using genetic tools to unlock historic patterns of population structure in order to understand the extent and impact of the current decline.
