My full name is Angel Obadiah Anguiano, Im 18 years old and I was born in Salinas California and raised in Gonzales California. My mother had me when she was 15 years old and wanted to adopt me to another family, but fortunately her parents decided to adopt me instead so my grandparents are my legal parents. My mother was never a mother to me and I don’t even know my biolocally father, not that I still care though. Throughout my childhood I was abused at home and bullied at school. My aunts or “legal sisters” would always physically and mentally punish me for the small reasons. Sometimes I deserve it but other times it would always be for the little things. My grandparents would always work evening shifts and come home early in the morning and sleep in throughout the entire morning so I’d hardly get to see them and tell them what would happen to me and I can’t even tell them all the things that has happened because of the language barrier; we spoke different languages. My uncles or “legal brothers” were enlisted to the military before I started elementary school so I was all alone, home didn’t feel like home at all. And at school I was always bullied throughout elementary school and middle school. the girls would always be mean to me. The guys would take my money and I’d let them, I always let people walk over me because I didn’t have respect for myself or the courage to stand up for myself. I’ll admit I wasn’t a little Saint myself but for the most part I’d keep to myself and just did the school work I was suppose to do. Friends didn’t feel like friends. Family didn’t feel like family. I had no one and when there was someone it’d only be temporary. One day my uncle came back from the marines and showed me videos of this guy who had an aesthetic looking body and he started out just like me (scrawny). Where is my uncle now? Living in his truck doing drugs, so hes completely outta my life but the videos he showed me about that guy, his story motivated me to start training. There’s more that motivated me but this is what got me started in the first place. I was only in the 7th grade when I started. I graduated high school in 2018 and I’m still training religiously and I can’t tell you how much it made my life better. It has helped me with so many aspects of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I want to motivate and inspire people with my story. I want to shine the light and bring hope to those who don’t see the light whatsoever. I want to represent someone who started out with nothing and climbed the mountain of success with nothing but the will and the strength he and he himself that he gained throughout his life.
