Tell me your favorite story and I'll tell you who you are.

I write stories. Sometimes the stories are short. Sometimes they are very long (2 million words and counting in one universe). Almost always they contain magic (or spaceships). Also families, music, food, and terrible puns. And usually cats. Or dogs. Sometimes both.

I love writing stories. I don't love my day job. I'd like to make writing stories my day job someday, but landlords and phone companies don't take checks dated "someday". This means that at the moment, most of my writing is short-form, and takes place on my blog, Anne's Randomness. Every Fiction Friday (well, almost), I post a flash fiction, that's 1000 words or less, for your reading pleasure.

My Fiction Friday posts are not pay-walled. They are free to all readers, and will remain so. However, if you are able to pledge even $1 per post (between $3 and $5 a month, depending on how often I'm able to write), not only will you be rewarded (see below), but I will be able to pay down the loans which are the main reason for that day job I don't love, and concentrate on the writing I do love. Plus you get silly drabbles to make you smile.
