My name is Annie Gallagher. I am 24 years old and am a writer, critic, gamer, feminist, and LGBT rights activist. Guardian Acorn is a blog that is primarily focused on game reviews and coverage. However, while it is mostly gaming based, that is not solely what it is about as I occasionally talk about other subject matters such as anime or even politics. Really, it is whatever I feel would be most appropriate as this blog is mainly an expression of myself. My goal is write stuff that connects with people and that has a strong personality.

I have a lot that I want to share with the world, and I greatly desire to have an audience that listens to what I have to say and discusses it with me. While not many have seen my writing at this time, those who have often had very positive things to say. I generally am a very self critical girl, and I don't hold myself in overly high regard. Writing, however, is one of the few things I I know for certain that I am good at, and thus it would be stupid of me to not try and capitalize on that.

This isn't simply a matter of typing up some words on a page and posting it as there is also a lot more to this. The reason I decided to create a Patreon account is so that I have more money to spend towards improving or expanding my site. If you would like to see informative and insightful yet also humorous reviews and coverage on niche games, then consider following Guardian Acorn, and donating to my blog if you have a game you'd like me to review or like to support building a like minded community of fellow individuals.

Tiers
Guardian Acorn Followers
$1 or more per month

For this tier, you will be able to see new reviews and poems a week before they are publicly posted on Guardian Acorn.

Guardian Acorn Supporters
$5 or more per month

For this tier, you will be able to vote on polls that will influence future content. There will be one poll every month starting in May of 2019.

Guardian Acorn Loyalists
$20 or more per month

For this tier, you will be able to pick one game for me to review that will be bumped a lot further up in the schedule. Note that I reserve the right to refuse a game if I do not wish to review it. I also reserve the right to cancel the request if the patron deletes their pledge within six months of making it. I also do not guarantee that this will be reviewed immediately but will do my best to get into in in a timely manner, and requesting it means it will be reviewed most likely quicker than if not. This tier is intentionally strict with its requirements because it is intended more as a bonus to those who already wish to support me than as a sole incentive to do so, and because having a large number of requests would be highly disruptive and difficult for me to manage.
