About

Welcome to the Anthropocene Architecture School! This Patreon shall be providing an open-channel and platform to engage with the AAS and content including fortnightly updates, interviews with its collaborators, recordings of guest-lectures from its impending series, reflections upon the project, recipes to recreate its workshops and more as sincere thanks to its Patrons.

The AAS is a decentralised school of architecture, activism and climate literacy and since its launch during Scotland's Architecture Fringe in June 2019, it has catalysed over 20 workshops and contributed to over a dozen events across the U.K and occasionally, internationally by digital means. Its outputs include climate literacy sessions and workshops for activists, built environment professionals, the public and architectural educators; research into architectural education; and transdisciplinary studios that have supported over 100 architecture students in learning sustainable design skills.

It punches well above its weight for an architecture school with no physical building, and support from this community shall mean this work can go on to be amplified as the AAS begins its second year.
