About

Tiffany is a Black BiRacial ciswoman, mama, author, and 6-9 Montessori educator who is committed to practicing and sharing anti-bias antiracist education with students, educators, families, everyone. She is trained through the Center for Montessori Education CMTE|NY and has taught at an independent Montessori school in Massachusetts for 14+ years.

This Book Is Anti-Racist is Tiffany's first book and will be published January 2020! You can read more about it on the We Need Diverse Books blog!

Tiffany is dedicated to empowering students to trust themselves and to respect their authentic, diverse capabilities. She is creating developmentally appropriate curriculum that addresses social inequity through the lenses of race, economic justice, immigration, and gender. She created a student workshop titled Reconnecting Our Classroom Community, which provides a safe and nurturing environment for elementary age students to further their cosmic education through exploring identity and self within their communities. The History of Racism and Anti-Racism Curriculum was released in August. It is a workshop for elementary and middle school aged students that specifically introduces learners to the history of racism (racist policies and ideas) and the concurrent history of resistance and antiracism. This 200+ page curriculum is offered to all at no cost and Tiffany hosts training webinars throughout the year!

This Patreon account is here to help support the creation of this curriculum (and more), to share the resources I'm using, and allows for me to share lessons and curriculum with folx who are interested and excited to do this work in their classrooms! Because of my Patreon supporrters/ co-conspirators I am able to offer free webinars, trainings, curriculum, and lessons throughout the year. These are available to ALL who wish to attend and learn.

You will also find me on instagram @tiffanymjewell where I sometimes co-host the #AntiRacistBookClub with Britt Hawthorne.
