Small-group check-ins are specifically for folks who enjoy working in a small-group, building community, and those who wish to connect with other educators and learners. Our focus will be on building an anti-bias anti-racist learning environment. We'll work on creating goals for the school year, while focusing on building a liberatory consciousness and developing an ABAR lens. Together, we'll grow our individual and collective understanding of what social justice anti-bias anti-racist education is. We'll use the liberatory consciousness framework (Dr. Barbara J. Love) to build an anti-bias anti-racist lens. You'll receive support with what you need- lessons, classroom environment, family communication, community building, "classroom management", and more.

(Space will be limited in order to keep the group small.)

-- We'll meet in September, November, January, March, May, and July.

-- Sessions will be hosted via zoom, recorded, and shared with all participants.

-- You'll receive carefully curated resources specific for the group.

-- You'll be invited to join bi-monthly check-ins with other ABAR educators.

-- The group may receive ongoing support between sessions.

-- And, you'll continue to have access to access to the Anti-Racist reading lists!
