About the book:
In a world where most of the known nations trace family lines through the mother's line, twins born well and without trauma may grow to possess special abilities called Gifts, and some few children are born throwbacks to the 'Old Blood' with functional claws on the first three digits of their hands, a storm is brewing that will shake the foundations of all knowledge. The young Scholar, Deluge Beariu, is caught in the eye of the storm. Deluge, evades his twin sister's murderer as he follows her prophetic visions to avoid death at an assassin's hand. Tensions rise, riots break out, and an entire country is on the brink of chaos.
About me:
I've always been a story teller. Even as a child, I would tell completely original stories to entertain and frighten my siblings. The worlds inside my head are so colorful and interesting, I just have to let them come out and play. As soon as I could write, I was writing poetry and fiction. Poetry is my quick fix, but fiction is my addiction. When you read a great book, you love and hate and live and die with the characters; They become a part of you. For me, writing is a process of syngerism--a mind-meld with the reader, and a deep communication with the world. We all have stories inside of us. Come see if my story calls to you.
