Hello! My name is Rosie and I'm a brazilian artist!
Thank you for visiting my page! Patreon has been a big part of my life for three years now, and the support I got here is invaluable. It's thanks to this wonderful community that I've been able to follow a dream that seemed impossible when I started out!
Your continued support allows me to:
- Keep doing what I love without being afraid to have to go back to a desk job;
- Take time off to dedicate to art studies, different medias, practice exercises and overall improvement of my art;
- Invest in software and hardware to keep my streams enjoyable for everyone;
- Explore new possibilities for my art, such as a merch store, collabs with other artists, involvement with charity projects and even fanart!
- Feed my four cats and my small fluffy dog! Very important.
About Me:I've been connected to art ever since I grabbed a pencil for the first time, but it took me a while to actually consider it as a carreer. As a web designer in the past, I'd have to always put my web projects on the top priority, and only work on art whenever there no projects happening. That was not only frustrating creativity wise, constantly causing the famous "art blocks", but it would also get my commission queue overly full, my customers would have to wait a horribly long time (think 10+ months), I'd feel constantly guilty and anxious about it, etc.
I jumped on Patreon with the intent to dedicate more to my art without feeling like it was hurting me financially. It was a pleasant surprise to figure out that, with your support, my art could not only be a part time job, it could actually be a viable carreer! It's been amazing to finally be able to pursue the kind of content and interaction I dreamed of for so long and, although I have a long way to go and much to learn, it's relieving and inspiring to be on the right track.
Nowadays I'm confident to say I'm an artist making a living off my work, and it's been incredibly rewarding. Patreon has really changed my life and I'm the happiest I've ever been! :)
