As We Wander is creating Adventure Writing & Photography

As We Wander began in 2016 in order to chronicle my then-six-year-old daughter's first backpacking trip, and has continued to evolve ever since. It is a repository of the tales and images of our adventures exploring America, with a goal of reconnecting people to the outdoors and empowering children to learn to problem solve in real-world situations. The focus thus far has been on writing and photography, but I would like to expand to include gear guides for different types of adventures and tips for both getting kids involved, and keeping them engaged.

The difficulty, though, is that 168 hours in a week are just not sufficient, and positive thinking isn't enough to kick the corporate overlord to the curb and strike out on my own, while still putting food on the table. I doubt that any of you have the ability to add more hours to the week, but if you do, I'm in.

Otherwise, by becoming a patron, you can help support As We Wander with no time traveling required!

$300 a month is how much I need to set aside monthly for Carl and I to go to Everest Base Camp in Nepal, planned for 2020.
