About

Hey Friends!
We are ensemble But What About, (BWA) a The Hague (NL) based ensemble with a focus on contemporary music, art, and improvisation. We are setting up a Patreon and a Youtube channel to invite people to create together with us and share it with the world! encouraging others to join in and do the same!

Your support
When you donate to our Patreon, you will support a community of artists that believe in these goals and work very hard to create content on a monthly basis balancing this with their busy lives as musicians.

Why Patreon
Creating art, inviting and supporting colleagues through videos and content is our desire. Of course, ambitious goals take production time, big costs and risks.  Finding time is exceptionally difficult. Surviving as an artist is hard enough on its own. For us to be able to spend the time working towards our goals, we need some help and Patreon could be a way for us to focus and dedicate the time needed.

Thank you so much for checking us and we hope to hear from you!

About BWA
BWA members have diverse cultural backgrounds (Dutch, Swiss, and Colombian), and they have developed themselves individually and as an ensemble in myriad genres. These include contemporary classical music, jazz, world music, theatre, klezmer, and improvisation. All of these styles intersect in the unconventional cumulative sound of BWA to produce a fresh sound medium that triggers equally fresh musical ideas.
