Mega Ran, a Philly-native who has made a name for himself the last several years as one of the most prolific and respected emcees in the hip-hop sub genre called "nerdcore" has been collaborating with DC-based music producer/audio engineer/self-proclaimed "Sound Samurai" K-Murdock since 2010, when together, they released their homage to classic Nintendo video games & hip-hop called Forever Famicom. Since then Ran & K have toured both domestically and internationally together, began hosting a weekly video game/hip-hop-themed radio show (The Manual) as well as a monthly podcast featuring the fellas recanting personal stories of their lives in & outside of the music (Bits, Rhymes & Life). Mega Ran & K-Murdock aim to always do what they do best for the fans- create unique music-related projects that blend sentiments of hip-hop and game nostalgia via their sonic offerings that don't sound "retro", but instead- fresh & progressive!
