Bread and Roses

Bread and Roses

is creating a taboo-breaking TV Magazine in Persian and English
Bread and Roses is a weekly TV programme broadcast in Iran on Saturdays from 7:30-8:00pm Tehran time via New Channel TV. It is hosted by Maryam Namazie and Fariborz Pooya and addresses "controversial" issues such as atheism, civil rights, women unveiling and secularism.

The Islamic regime of Iran has accused Bread and Roses of "encouraging opponents of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran" and has called us "immoral and corrupt" - all the more reason to support our programme.

We have been producing Bread and Roses since May 2014.

Your patronage will enable us to continue to produce blasphemous programming on a weekly basis.
