Bundoran Press is a small Canadian publisher that focuses on science fiction. We've been operating since 2006 and currently publish 2 to 4 books per year. Our books have been nominated 6 times for Canada's Aurora Award (winning once) and once for the Sunburst Award.

We are a small Canadian publisher with a pretty narrow focus: all science fiction, all the time. We've produced some pretty good books over the years, good enough to gain six Aurora nominations and one win. This year we published a crowd-sourced anthology called Strange Bedfellows: An Anthology of Political Science Fiction with 18 stories from writers around the world, including several award-winning writers.
The three partners of Bundoran Press (writers all) have put their own money into the venture and will continue to do so. But the demands are great and, so far, the rewards (other than ephemeral ones) non-existent. Every month we're a few dollars short and if we want to keep going -- and we really do -- we need some support from folks who like Bundoran Press and love good science fiction.
We've averaged 3 books a year for the last little while. If we can get a little help we can keep doing that; if we get a lot, maybe we can up our production to 4 or 5. We don't publish our own work (though one of the writers was published by the company before the current group bought it 2 years ago) but seek out the best books we can find -- paying writers, artists and designers to produce the best books we can.
