The Cabinet of Curiosities is about a creative life style revolving around making electronic music.

I don’t do demos. I don’t do reviews. I don’t assess, evaluate or judge.

I enjoy gear and get easily fascinated by all sorts of instruments, effects and software. The videos I do are not about gear, though. They are about workflow and creativity. They tell a story. I aim for a narrative approach designed for learning.

By micro-funding my work through Patreon, you contribute to quality and continuity of videos being produced.

Members on Patreon vouch for a diverse, creative, confident community. I appreciate that to the point that members get exclusive access, help shape the content and get priority attention in the social media flood. Check out what rewards are active right now in the rightmost column of the page.

(I charge for tutorial videos - about one a week. VLOG type videos are posted without charge. Remember, you can always set a monthly maximum to what your patronage is).

A typical video tutorial take roughly about sixteen to twentyfour hours to prepare, shoot, edit and publish. By getting rewarded for my actual time, I can step back a bit from other freelance jobs to focus on the Cabinet of Curiosities. My wife and daughter will appreciate that I don't spend evenings and weekends in the studio.
