In order for my reviews to be honest and totally objective, I must buy the items I want to review. PR companies representing larger corporations only want to hear positive things when they send you a product for 'free.' If you are critical of their product, quite often they take offense to that and will never send you another product for review. As a reviewer, if you are critical of any product sent by a PR company, you are making the PR company look bad to the company that hired them.

I also like to work with smaller, lesser known products from companies that don't have the budget for a fancy PR company and genuinely appreciate the feedback on their products intended to make their product more useful, reliable, better value, etc... These hardware and software hidden gem discoveries are my favorite!!!

YouTube AdSense eventually covers the cost one of my videos (which are often an hour or two in length, rendered in 4k), however, it currently takes about 6 months to cover the cost of a single computer build tutorial that takes an average 3 weeks to film, edit and post. As you can see, I have to be creative about what I review (something cheap) or I have to release videos much less often (once or twice a month at most).

I am a one-man operation, so I have to do all the camera work, audio, talent, lighting, editing, rendering, posting and administration of the YouTube channel on my own. This does require more time from start to finish than if I had a crew, but, I believe, it also keeps my videos genuine and approachable to the average viewer.

If this sounds appealing to you and you like my humor, decades of experience fixing computers and want to see REAL reviews, not just product overviews, please become my Patreon!

For this amount you can talk to Carey to help you resolve a single support issue. Conversation can be had over email, Skype or telephone. People outside of USA will have to use Skype or email for their support call, since my phone does permit calls outside of the USA (but you could call me...)

This makes you the associate producer of the show. Your name will be given during the beginning of the show and mentioned again at the end along with your name in the show credits. This can be used on your resume' an official position in a real production.

Goals
$222 of $4,000 per One time campaign for next major computer build video.
This amount will allow me to buy some great components to show how to build a fantastic gaming PC. Step-by-step, screw-by-screw, close-ups and re-shoots where necessary to make the information easily understandable with a few laughs along the way. I also need money to buy extra lighting and rent a studio. I want this to look like a professional amateur video. However, I have no use for the PC when the video is complete, so my plan will be to raffle it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to Kids At Hope (http://kidsathope.org/), a non-profit organization that is very close to my heart.
