I'm just a small town girl (living in a lonely world... Sorry, had to!) who has lived and breathed all things creative since I was a child. Every notebook I had was full of doodles and scribbles. Every coloring book I received was filled up. I'd write stories and draw pictures and paint the most ridiculous things. I was involved in theatre from age 12 through college, where I majored in it (stage management, property design, with some set design), and beyond. And with all of this in mind, I had been entertaining the idea of an Etsy shop for years, but I was never quite ready to open one. I always felt that I wasn't advanced enough in whichever artistic endeavour I was exploring at the time, even though I almost always received words of encouragement and constant support from loved ones.

Finally, in October 2017, I decided to really take the plunge. I spent the next month and a half practicing the art of watercolor and doodling and drawing. With the encouragement of my husband, immediate family, and several of my closest friends, I decided to test the waters with holiday cards, with plans to expand into actual paintings--landscapes (galaxies are my favorite) and doodles/animals/fun things (I'm partial to succulents and mushrooms), with holiday greeting cards supplementing.

I have plans and dreams for myself that I never thought would come to fruition, yet as I sit here typing this up, I can see a future blossoming in front of me. I hope with the sincerest of hopes, that you love what you see as much as I love making it!
