I have embarked on the expedition of my lifetime, visually documenting America through intensive, state-by-state studies and producing tens of thousands of new, full-color, highest-quality digital images that our national Library of Congress desperately needs to refresh its collection of overwhelmingly black-and-white images taken on film prior to 1960.
