HD Overhead Camera
Since we're going to be doing a lot more product reviews, wouldn't it be great to be able to get that overhead look whenever we want to get closeups of what we have on our desk? The main camera isn't always able to capture the finer details of the products we're reviewing. This new HD Overhead Camera will let us get good and close, with a much easier-to-see view for viewers to see the products we're reviewing.
A TV on the Brick Wall
Let's put a big screen TV up behind the hosts on the main set! Keep it interesting with on-screen demos, logo fly-ins, Skype interviews, and more.
BIG PRIZES
Just for being a Patron of Category5, we'll include you in our amazing draws which will begin when we hit the $100 per episode mark. These draws will be held on the 5th Tuesday of any month where there are 5 Tuesdays!
We're gonna stock up on impressive Category5 swag (stuff such as T-Shirts and Coffee Mugs) as well as great merch from other companies (eg., cool gadgets and gizmos... I'm thinking Rokus, Amazon Fire TV Sticks, and whatever hot items we can get our hands on) and once per month we will randomly select one of our patrons and send them the prize. Patron names will flash by in "Drawbot" fashion on the live show, and the draw is only available to our Patrons (of any level).

Smooth Sailing!
Our hard cost per episode just for rent, insurance and Internet is around $250. Once we achieve this level of support, we're smooth sailing! This will mean we can really start rocking out some amazing upgrades. Please help us get here. This would be a major turning point for the network.
Upgrade to 4K
Once we maintain this level for 3 consecutive months, we'll be able to upgrade our main camera to 4K. Our feed will remain 720p (or possibly be upgraded to 1080p) but with the 4K source, the shows produced in Studio D will look better than ever, and we'll have the ability to do a lot more "digital zoom" and transitions than we do with our current 1080p cameras.
Main Set Overhaul
Let's make the set look amazing! We're talking a geek's dream setup! Screens everywhere, nice lighting, stuff made of metal and space to move around!

The Category5 TV Network has been broadcasting live Internet-based TV programming since 2007.
Your "Per Episode" support is based on each episode of our flagship show, Category5 Technology TV, however your support affects the entire network (all our shows). This simply makes it easier for you to budget and understand just how many episodes you'll be supporting per month.
Patreon allows you to set a monthly cap on your support (if desired). Category5 Technology TV broadcasts 4 to 5 episodes per month (depending on the number of Tuesdays). A cap of 5x the value per month will ensure you support each episode, but gives you the peace of mind of never going over budget. The "Per Episode" paradigm helps us budget for each episode, but you will actually only be charged once per month, whatever the number of episodes (or your cap) is. If you pledge $1 per episode and we do 4 episodes, you will be billed 1x $4, not 4x $1 (in the interest of bank fees, etc.) Generally, Patreon will charge your payment method at the beginning of each month. Therefore, if you become a patron on the 10th of the month, you may expect 2 or 3 episodes to be billed on the 1st of the following month.
