For the price of a cinema outing plus drink and popcorn I'll send you an A5 Postal Painting to any postal address you choose. Each Post Painting features an original piece of art by me, Cathy Read.
The Post Painting include a meditation by me as the artist about the painting.
Some are descriptive, and others are the story behind how the painting came to be, and, sometimes, they are complete flights of fancy that may take you to "who knows where?"!
I never know where the meditation will take me until I start them, and this way you join me on the journey.
Every month a new Postal Painting, complete with its new meditation story., will land on your doormat. And unlike a cinema outing plus drink and popcorn, these contain zero calories.

There's no such thing as too many prints! For the price of an indulgent afternoon tea, this level is for lovers of my paintings who prefer compact sizes. I am always creating new art and once a quarter I create a bespoke piece for you as a print collector.
You will receive your first print in the post in the third month at this membership level and then you will receive your next print every 4 months after that.
Each time print arrives ready mounted for you to put in a frame of your own choice.

About Cathy Read Art
Cathy Read re-imagines iconic architecture using explosive,
colourful drops and trails of paint, held together with a structure of white
lines. Inspired by looming, dramatic urban and industrial architecture, she
draws on influences from various cities in the UK. In a previous life she
worked as an Occupational Therapist using large art projects to help develop
motor skills in children.
She exhibits with the Society of Women Artists in London and was awarded the Barbara Tate Memorial Award in 2015. Her work is in the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford and corporate collections. She is represented by Artzu Gallery Manchester and appeared on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2016 and 2017.
Originally from Manchester she now lives in a chapel near Buckingham which she converted with her husband. She lives close enough to London to get her Urban Architecture fix when needed.
When Cathy's not steering 60ft of steel canal boat along the British waterways and wielding a windlass, she can be found splattering paint and singing loudly in her Buckinghamshire Studio.
