We are developing an Online Versus Real Time Tactics RPG called Battle is Key! Think of game-play similar to Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics - except there is no luck based mechanics because all the game-play (attacking, healing, dodging)  happens in real-time! You don't have to stand there and take the hit! - Move out the way! Every playable Unit on your team is given a Letter on the Keyboard or Controller that will give you control for as long as held. They have their own unique actions that they will preform when not under your control too so don't worry about idle Units!

All the code for Tournament mode, Ranking, Online matchmaking and etc is done. We just need to build up the funds to upgrade the assets via purchase or a professional artist. Additionally we have a robust code base to implement almost any new Unit, feature or mechanic the community may vote on. We also want to create a single player mode to accompany the online part of the game.

Right now we have 22 Units fully playable. Here is a small list of what they can do:

  • Knight - High Attack that lowers when HP is below 50 percent. Has a Shield Move that block Status ailments if timed right.
  • Geomancer - Can Spawn Cubes to block players. Earth-Quake Knock away all nearby Units. Can spawn a wave of sand that pushes units.
  • WereWolf -  When struck. He auto howls and heals for each Unit Nearby. Can Sense Invisible Units. Weak to fire.
  • Mage - Can set an Ice Trap that falls on Units and gives Confusion. Has a Fireball and Thunder move that hits airborne Units.
  • Priest - Auto Heals weakened allies. Can heal from afar. Able to Exorcise 'Evil' Units like Werewolf , Assassin , Nother etc.
  • Dragon - Stays in flight all game. Flies over obstacles. Able to destroy Obstacles in a single attack.
  • Assassin - Invisibility and the ability to throw a dagger 4 tile that Poison. At low health he can explode for High Burn damage.
  • Nother - A ghostly Unit that can go thru walls , teleport and set poison traps.Heals when he licks you...
  • Archer - Can set a cross shape pattern of grass for invisibility. Long rang attacks that include an ability to go over obstacles.
  • Ronin - Can commit seppuku to deal massive damage 2 tiles BEHIND him. If damaged , this Unit spreads the total evenly to adjacent allies.
  • Monk - Auto regens over time and has diagonal movement . High stat resistance. High Damage to Blocks. Invisible if in Grass.
  • ForestSpirit - Spawns 3x3 grass tiles. On Death , this unit explodes for high Burn Damage that leaves lava. After time the lava becomes Grass.
  • Crystal - A Unit That must be Selected in Crystal Mode. If destroyed you lose. Invisible in Grass. Auto regens. Diagonal and Double movement.

NOTE: The is is not the full list of moves/abilities for the Units .

We just want to make games and software that haven't been created before. To have players excited about competing in their favorite genres without the any subscriptions or pay to win structures. To have those genres injected with game-play mechanics and features that create new sub genres. We want a community driven gaming experience
where players have more access to the development of the games  they are interested in.

We will be able to keep the game servers up and running for both old and new games we create. We are currently using Photon Unity to host most of our games for now and $50 a month would keep all of them up all year. We would rather borrow money than have subscriptions of any kind.
