Thanks for checking out the Patreon. I don't think it's necessary to really go into what Censored Gaming does as our tagline takes care of that nicely - "the definitive resource for censorship". That's what Censored Gaming is all about, documenting all censorship in video games. The word definitive isn't used lightly. When I say "all censorship", I really mean everything. I take pride in covering things not found anywhere else on the internet.
Is there a team at Censored Gaming to help?
Nope, the channel is worked on by myself in between your typical day-to-day stuff. Due to this, I am unfortunately always having great trouble finding the time I want and need to spend on the channel.
How can I help?
Firstly, if you are interested in helping Censored Gaming in any way possible then THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!
There are many things you can do. Firstly, a big thing is just getting the word out about the channel - PLEASE tell people you know and post links in forums and stuff. There will always be a lot of people who would otherwise check Censored Gaming out but simply aren't aware of its existence. In many of these cases, they sadly wouldn't come across us otherwise which is why telling people about the channel is such a big deal.
Alongside this, I am always appreciative of any suggestions and supportive comments! As well as anything else you could do that may help out!
Then there's of course the help from this very website. With the financial support from Patreon, I will be able put more time into the channel and improve the quality!
What will the money be used for exactly?
I don't want to really make money from this. I just want Censored Gaming to achieve its fullest potential. All money will be put towards what is listed in the milestones to the left.
The first thing is just being able to devote more time to the channel. I want to be able to put in 12+ hours a day making new videos and other improvements but this of cause isn't possible.
Then there's much needed technical upgrades. I would love to be able to edit videos without my computer freezing all of the time, use a much better sounding microphone and make the footage look as nice as possible. Even just being able to purchase the games needed for comparisons. Of course, the nature of the channel means many copies of the same game are needed and when you combine this with brand new titles things can get far too expensive.
Following this there's the ultimate goal - creating Censored Gaming's own website. I would want it to be as high quality as possible which means I'd need to hire a professional to help create and maintain the site. This would allow many things to be achieved that are impossible with YouTube. There would be daily news, an easily searchable database categorising all known censorship and a message board where you are free to discuss whatever you like completely free of worry that you may becensored.
