Hi, Thanks for checking out my page! Here is a game concept I came up with using the game of Marbles as an influence. Taking the competitive multiplayer nature of the game, and also adding in the risk verses reward element of the game where you could potentially lose your marbles depending on the moves you make, birthed my game idea for Chainmail Chaos.

Here is a fully detailed breakdown of the game and how it will play out:
2 player game where one player must try and defend their castle, while the other tries to invade in a BO5 format. Each player begins with 1000 soldiers. The player in the castle will distribute and decide on where to allocate their soldiers. They may put a few extra soldiers by the front gates as they are the expected main point of attack, however it leaves the back more vulnerable. The attacking player distributes on where he wants to focus his attacks on. Once each player is happy with their plan the battle phase will begin. Each player’s soldier positions will remain hidden to each other until the battle phase. For each kill and victory a soldier earns, levels them up making them more powerful, however once a soldier is killed they are permanently dead and will be replaced by a fresh soldier. Once all the soldiers on one side are dead they lose. However if a player is suffering many loses and doesn’t wish to permanently lose anymore soldiers, they have the option to surrender. A surrender results in the immediate loss of the round. The percentage of soldiers that have been killed at the point of surrender will be the percentage chance of which the surrendering soldiers may leave to join the enemies’ team permanently. So there’s the added risk of losing your remaining soldiers to the enemy team if you surrender.
