Channel 101

is creating original TV and podcasts for the internet

Who Are We?: Channel 101 is a non-profit monthly short film festival created by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab. Participants submit a short film in the format of a TV pilot under five minutes in length. The live audience votes for what shows come back and which get canceled to be replaced by even more new pilots. You can be a part of history by coming to a screening and voting every month at the Downtown Independent in Los Angeles!

The official podcast is available on Apple Podcasts where creators from Channel 101 are interviewed about their processes and experiences in the film/TV industry.

For a good primer check out some of the classic Channel 101 series like Yacht RockCar-JumperIKEA HeightsGoogyLaser FartActress, and House of Cosbys.

What do I get?: For $5 a month you not only help Channel 101 continue to exist and help creators flourish without huge budgets or networks, but also gain access to a weekly podcast where your hosts Erin, Adam, and Matt (and sometimes Nick) explore the history of 101 screening by screening starting with the very first one in 2003. Watch along with them as they discuss shows made by Dan Harmon, Rob Schrab, Justin Roiland, Tim & Eric, The Lonely Island, and more!
