Bio

2022 Recipient of the Cheryl Lowe Legacy Award for significant contributions to classical education

Wife of 30+ years and adoptive mom to boy/girl twins who have autism, learning disabilities, medical conditions, and schizophrenia, I homeschooled our twins from their infancy through high school graduation with a classical Christian education. With a master's degree in special education (learning & behavior disorders), I witnessed the impact of a classical Christian education on the lives of my own two children.

Today our family lives in a quiet lake community in southeast Missouri, where I work, write, and consult from home. I travel to speak at select events, often with my now young adult children, who love to pack their bags to join me.
