In 2017, I started my podcast, Against Everyone with Conner Habib, because I thought then - and think now - that conversations about ideas are important. Instead of all the small talk and takes in our world, we could have big talk and real engagement with each other's minds.
If we take spiritual, philosophical, political, and economic ideas seriously - but engage with them in a fun, accessible, and non-confrontational way - we can deepen our experience of being human. We can create compassion. And we can also just have a good time.

Since then, I've recorded episodes with occultists, philosophers, theologians, political commentators, war zone journalists, paranormal investigators, punk rock musicians. activists, authors, and more; and the podcast has reached hundreds of thousands of listeners and inspired new conversations across the world.

I've also taken on writing fiction, and my novel, Hawk Mountain, is the first in a series of offerings; the book and subsequent media events and talks are my attempt to tell a great story but also to situate fiction in its vital place in culture.
