Welcome!  And thank you for coming to our Patreon page!

Who are we?

That is a very easy and understandable question!  We are Copper Piece and we produce a weekly Dungeons and Dragons podcast.

With Copper Piece, Steve prepares adventures for the party, and the party attempts to ruin those adventures.  Each member is witty, funny, and likes to try to step over the line between rules and ridiculousness.

Right now on Copper Piece, the party is running through the Curse of Strahd campaign. More recently, we have started on the new homebrew adventure!

Why Patreon?
Patreon is a great resource for us (as is for many).  Patreon grants us the ability to reach out to people and publish content in a nice little space on the internet without having major social media ties to platforms like Facebook and Twitter.  Granted we have both of those things, on our Patreon you will get information right away instead of between political opinions from your family.

On the more financial side, Patreon helps us develop a monthly budget and follow that budget on a monthly basis.  For us, this helps us with basic monthly expenses and gives us more wiggle room instead of just basing it all off of a large sum of money.  This helps with the podcast publishing, live stream publishing, new future projects that we would love to do, and much, much more.

What will we do with the money?
We plan on using the money to invest in better equipment, keeping the show running, and adding more shows to the docket.  We have a lot of plans and we are really excited to share them with you. We want to increase the quality, and that is our #1 priority.

To break it down a bit further, we need the funds to cover the basic costs of keeping the show running every month.  We also need it to keep the website up and running while also telling people who we are and what we are doing.  We also want to keep it as advertisement free as possible.

Once we have our costs down, we will start to increase quality where it is needed.  We are talking about new soundboards, better microphones, and and most importantly; more time to edit everything.

What do you get out of this?
The answer to this can only be found inside you.  But seriously, you get to be a person who says "Hey, these guys are cool, and I support them and wish to be a part of this community."  Supporting something you like is pretty awesome, and we don't take any of that for granted.

On top of the eternal smugness that you can feel (we are talking George Clooney at the Oscars kind of smugness), we will be be offering something quite unusual: When you support us at a certain tier, we will put you into the new homebrew campaign!  Fair warning, Steve cannot be responsible for what happens to your character in the act of their untimely demise.

You can be a part of the creation process even more, by attending various "Town hall" virtual meet ups where we can all have a conversation about the campaign, the decisions the players made, what the DM did, and more!  We can even talk about something entirely different from the game too!  It's a Town Hall meeting, our only limits are our own perceptions.

The Most Important Thing to Us
...is to deliver amazing content and making it accessible to everyone.  You don't have to back us to listen to all we have to say or all that we have to do, but, we do have some perks if you decide to help us.  The main Copper Piece podcast will be available to everyone, but other productions we may give to Patreons earlier.

I think we covered it all.  If you wish to contact us please do so here!  We are always looking for feedback, criticisms, and mindflayers.

This goal helps us keep the basic necessities every month.  This keeps the website going, the podcast services up, and helps us offset the most basic costs.  At this goal we will start to do some basic live streams.
