Hello, and welcome,

I'm Cullen McHael, and I'm producing Cold Morning, an urban fantasy podcast and e-novel set in the classic pup adventure era of the 1930s.

Marcus Summanus is a professional adventurer - a colorful character the tabloids love - who bills himself as a bodyguard, explorer, antiquarian, boxer, and mercenary. With wry humor and dauntless courage, Mark has an unerring instinct for getting himself into trouble, but getting out again is another story. When he witnesses a murder outside his apartment in Chicago, he makes it his business to find the killer, even if nobody particularly wants him to.

Jenny Rubicon won a sharpshooting medal at her state fair when she was only nine, the same year her older sister disappeared without a trace. A decade later she's finally found the first clues to pick up the hunt, even if everybody along the way insists her sister doesn't need saving.

Short term, I'm saving up my patreon contributions to commission better cover-art for the website. In the meantime, my goal is to finish the first major story arc ('book'), which will open up the world to a variety of perspectives and stories. Professionalism and punctuality matter to me, as do draft polish and high quality story. That's why I'm grateful to all my readers, and grateful for every contribution; each dollar helps me focus on taking my stories to new and stranger places.

Long term, I plan to continue to improve the production value in the podcast with more diverse music and sound effects, professional readers for guest stories and side-stories (to read the PoV of other characters) and also to form working relationships with artists so there's art in every chapter. All that costs is money, so I can't say enough how excited I am by your support, commentary, and enthusiasm.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
~Cullen
