Cindy is a native of Aransas Pass. She holds a BA in theatre from St. Edward’s University, and an MA in theatre from Southwest Texas State University. Her emphasis is in costume design, but she enjoys both acting and directing. During her time in Vegas, she won the 1996 NAUMD Image of the Year award for her design contributions to Texas Gambling Hall & Hotel. Some of her favorite directing roles include “The Stepmother,” “Vanities,” and “Same Time, Next Year.” Favorite acting roles include Tzeital in “Fiddler on the Roof,” Miss Loveit in “The Man of Mode,” Doris in “Same Time, Next Year,” and Johnnie in “Pure as the Driven Snow.” Cindy is very proud to be the 2016 Rialto Theatre Volunteer of the Decade.
