There have been many chapters to my story so i will start with the most relevant one.

The DV Page 2011 (Dysfunctional Veterans Facebook page)
In the beginning it was just about sharing the dark humor us veterans all know and love. Now it is much more than that. Homelessness, Suicide, PTSD, the VA and many many other important issues facing veterans we have addressed.

From the DV page to DV Radio and now the DV Farm for homeless veterans,
Since it's beginning I have focused on helping veterans in as many ways as possible. Over the years the DV organization and it's followers has helped  me do many charitable causes and still does. Using the power of social media and with almost 2 million followers we have helped to promote and elevate many new and upcoming veteran organizations, assisted veterans in need, traveled across the country to pass out survival kits to veterans living on street, and provided gift cards to hospitalized veterans just name a few.
Countless Volunteers, supporters and fans have donated their time, money and resources to allow me to do all of this. Without them none of this would have been possible.

Last but not least there's the memes. The page has provided for your entertainment purposes continual memes every day for the past several years.

DVFarm.org Founded 2015
This long term rehab for homeless veterans is for some a last chance at a normal life. We take those that have failed at other programs. Chronically homeless, substance abuse and other issues, these are the vets i want.

DVRadio.net 2014
Weekly podcasts with the same mission as the DV Page.

The DV Store -(MyDV.store)
With an array of humorous and not so humorous products showcasing our fans desire for dark humor the DV Store has paved the way for me do all of this. With out it there would be no farm or radio.
The proceeds from the online store allowed me to purchase the land, buildings and a farm truck  needed to start DV Farm and for the first two years it fully funded the salary of employees, (Farm manager, administration clerk, accountant etc.) needed to operate it, along with other expenses. And even now when there is a shortfall/gap in donations the DV store sales has allowed me to always ensure that program survives
Our Board members are all volunteers and do not draw a salary.

I spend the majority of my time now at the DV Farm office coordinating with the staff on training schedules, program projects, future fundraisers.  One on one meetings with the residents and their treatment plans is also an important part of the job. I also do the intakes and manage the wait lists of future residents.

I love what i do and I'm not finished yet.  There is still work to be done.
