I am passionate about creating music that is healing, calming, relaxing and uplifting for you, whatever your experience and wherever you are.
My goal is to once again do this full time, as I did in the 90s. Only now, wherever you are, you can listen to my music. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, my life purpose had to go dormant like a seed in winter-hardened ground for a couple decades.

But now, with a much richer perspective, and the full online experience, and platforms like Patreon, I can bring you this music once again.

Watch my video, subscribe to my channel and you will find under Playlists, one labeled 432HZ.
That playlist contains only compositions I've done in 432HZ. 432HZ was unknown to me when I was younger. And my education and experience exposed me to quite a few different tuning methods for creating music.
But this is just one of many things that is now taking me beyond the education and experience of my younger self. Education and experience for which I am eternally grateful, but I now see there's more.
I am constantly exploring new ways to express this music to you, from instrumentation to perspective. Most of my inspiration comes from nature: the conversations held by birds, trees, winds, leaves, and other creatures.

The visual images on this site are few, but they come from the very fine folks at Pexels.com
The reason for this is I am completely blind, and so I rely on Pexels, and their fine descriptions, to select the artwork I use.
I encourage anyone to go over there, check out what these creators are doing, give them a donation or a thank you on their social networks. To them I am very grateful.

Anyone who becomes a Patron gets Patreon-exclusive music. That is music you won't find in stores. You can certainly find Dave Leo Baker in your favorite online music distribution service like Spotify and iTunes. But the music I create for you here is out of appreciation for your help. Not only pledges, but the four pillars of survival for us creators online: Plays, Likes, Follows / Subscribes and shares.
Thank you for the opportunity to bring you this exclusive content.
Visit DaveLeoBaker.com for all things Dave Leo Baker.
Thank you.
Tiers
Plays
$1 or more per month

Plays  are where it's at. If you're ready to help people you know get some healing music, this is the tier for you. More than the $1 pledge, I really need you to upvote my music and add it to public playlists on your musical platform of choice.

Independent artists only get noticed when fans like you play, like, subscribe/follow, and share. The simplest way to share is add your favorite song to one of your playlists that you've made public.  Then you can recommend your favorite track to a popular playlist you listen to. How you do this depends on the platform you use. If you're not on a platform like Spotify or iTunes, you can play, like, subscribe / follow  and share my music  on Youtube, or SoundCloud.com/DaveLeoBaker.

There's a science to how music gets noticed, and how it doesn't. It all comes down to the Four Pillars. An artist who doesn't have those doesn't get looked at, let alone listened to.

The four pillars are plays, likes, follows or subscribes, and shares. Algorithms monitor this data closely and use it to promote and emote music in search results.

When you participate in these four areas, you're not just helping me. You're defeating the algorithms who give you the hate comments you don't want, and instead spreading healing, love and light to others on your networks.

The people called "tastemakers," behind all your most popular playlists? The people who decide what gets noticed and what doesn't? They don't even bother to listen to an artist who doesn't have enough of the big Four: Plays, likes, follows / subscribes, and shares.

As one of my promoters, you will always know what I'm working on -- short term and long term -- and for albums, you will get to listen to tracks before they even hit SoundCloud and Youtube.

You will also get to download  Patreon-specific music  at least once a month. This is music done as a thank-you to you, who are helping me immeasurably with the part of the process I'm the least good at: promotion. This music will not be released to stores, so you won't find it in my collection on Spotify, iTunes, Google Music or even on my unmonetized Youtube channel or SoundCloud. That's how much your help means to me.

When you promote my music in the four ways, plays, likes, follows/subscribes and shares, I spend less time looking like just another unknown trying to get noticed, and more time in the studio putting my heart and energy into creating relaxing and healing music for you and those you know. Thank you for every play, like follow/subscribe and most of all, for every share.

Likes
$5 or more per month

Likes take it to the next level. When you upvote a song you like, you're telling other fans of similar music that this one's worth checking out. And you're telling the all-important algorithms that somebody actually likes this song. More than the $5 pledge, I really need you to upvote my music and add it to public playlists on your musical platform of choice.

As one of my tier two promoters, you will always know what I'm working on -- short term and long term -- and for albums, you will get to listen to tracks before they even hit SoundCloud and Youtube.

You will also get to download  Patreon-specific music  at least once every two weeks. Follows
$10 or more per month

Follows tell people this artist is worth their valuable time to take a listen.

The algorithms and tastemakers pay close attention to follow and subscribe counts. Services like Youtube and SoundCloud will not let an artist have access to some very important features until they exceed their subscriber threshold. Genre playlist curators won't even consider an artist who doesn't have enough followers. On some platforms, the curator can't even see the artists, because the algorithms hide them.

As one of my tier Three  promoters, you will always know what I'm working on -- short term and long term -- and for albums, you will get to listen to tracks before they even hit SoundCloud and Youtube.

You will also get to download  Patreon-specific music  at least once every week. This is music done as a thank-you to you, who are helping me immeasurably with the part of the process I'm the least good at: promotion. Shares
$20 or more per month

Shares are where the rubber really meets the road. When you like something, you tell other people about it.

The algorithms in all the networks and platforms you're a part of are set up to promote things that are shared, and demote things that aren't.

Now with music, especially this kind of healing music, it can be tricky.

People's lizard brains really love and react to the constant barrage of hate, fear porn, instance action click bait. That stuff gets shared all the time without people even having to be asked.

But when you saw a piece of music or some other creator's work shared, and you took a look, was it a breath of fresh air?

Sharing my music is how people you know who would like this kind of stuff will ever find it.

The algorithms and tastemakers pay close attention to follow and subscribe counts. But even more, they pay attention to shares. A share tells them that someone thought enough of this creator's work to go beyond an all-important play, a valuable thumbs-up, and even beyond a follow / subscribe. Because when you share it, you're making that opinion specific to you. Play counts, like counts, even follow counts, aren't traced to individual people in the same way as a share. But when you share, your network heard from you personally. That's why the share means so much to us creators.

And when a track or an artist gets shared, that's the exposure necessary to increase all the other three pillars: People play it because they know you personally and want to take your recommendation. Then some of them thumbs up, because they like what they heard. Then a few of those follow or subscribe, because they want to know when this creator puts out something new. Everyone likes to be the first to know.

As one of my tier Four   promoters, you will always know what I'm working on -- short term and long term -- and for albums, you will get to listen to tracks before they even hit SoundCloud and Youtube.

As Sharers, though, you get to download the full album before it hits stores. That means your mp3 player has it, whether or not there's Internet at the location you want to listen to it.

Just like the Followers, you get to download  Patreon-specific new music  at least once every week. But for you, some of what you will be able to download are hour-long tracks. I was educated about making these by a couple of people; a massage therapist and a meditation instructor, who told me they want music which stays in the flow for a full hour. That means songs don't switch when they're creating the atmosphere.

You as my top fans get this content as it arrives, exclusively for you.
