Originally serialised within the pages of the self-published Glamourpuss #1-26 (2008 to 2012), The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond is an as yet uncompleted work-in-progress in which I investigate the history of photorealism in comics, specifically focusing on the work of comic-strip artist Alex Raymond and the circumstances of his death on 6 September 1956 at the wheel of fellow artist Stan Drake's Corvette at the age of 46. You can check out some sample pages here. When completed The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond will be published by IDW as an 18-issue monthly comic-book series.

Unfortunately, The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond will take years to complete and doesn't bring in any income. This forces me to take on other income-generating projects to cover my day-to-day living expenses, such as drawing cover art for IDW and accepting commissions from fans. However, every hour spent working on other projects, is an hour spent not drawing The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond.

Which is where you come in. By supporting The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond through Patreon, you are giving this project a steady income that I can rely on, and that means I can devote more of my time and creative energy to completing The Strange Death Of Alex Raymond. Thank you for your support.
