About Kyle Bosman
Hi I'm Kyle Bosman, I'm making a series called Delayed Input, an editorial show about a weird person and his bad opinions about video games.
This series falls in line with a lot of what I've made in the past--it'll be bizarre and comedic and usually have some sort of perspective in the end--my goal with this in particular is to create something that reflects earth's current vibes as well as my own increasingly inconsistent sense of being. And my goal is to make a lot of episodes.
In my short time away from Patreon, I have frankly found that nothing motivates me more than the generosity of strangers. Generally I think you're supposed to create for yourself but in practice I'm just not worth it. I'd like to make it clear: Delayed Input isn't designed to be a huge YouTube comeback phenomenon, rather just a consistent creative outlet I can be uncharacteristically enthusiastic about. I'm trying to build a low-key Patreon for a low-key show.
The release schedule will be one new episode every Thursday for 8 weeks back-to-back, taking 3 weeks off in-between. In the middle of those three weeks I'll do an unrelated weird video, like a music video or unfunny sketch. Then we're back for another season--8 weeks on, 3 weeks off--repeating for a period of time between one year and eternity. And hey that's just the plan for now, we can adjust it if something's not working.
I've set up two tiers:
POST-SHOW ASSESSMENTS
Every Friday I'll type up some short thoughts about the episode that has just gone live the day prior. Expect behind the scenes insights but mostly regrets. When I post the episode here, I'll scan the comments for interesting questions you might have in regards to the show's production, reasoning, or glaring inaccuracies, and answer them in the Post-Show Assessments. My goal is to keep these short and breezy and not concerning.
YOUR NAME IN THE CREDITS
This is a pretty regular YouTube-Patreon thing but I frankly have no idea how many names to plan for. If it's a lot, they'll roll over the post-show bonus bits, which might be a higher honor I'm not sure. Please note that due to the seasonal rollout there will be some months with fewer videos than others.
