Hosting websites costs money! Help me out with keeping my webcomic sites up and running without a hitch
4-5 pages a week update schedule winter 2016
If I reach this goal by January 2016 I'll be able to focus purely on drawing Fjordson during my winter break away from College instead of taking commission like I usually do, thus I'll be able to update more frequently. This money would cover my rent.
New laptop to replace my dying one
The laptop I use for drawing when I am on break is old and slow, so with this money I would be able to replace it (not with a macbook). This would be a huge help for me when drawing, as my old laptop (almost 5 years old now) lags as screws up on a daily basis.

Hello, my name is Malin Falch and I'm an international student from Norway studying visual development at the Academy of art university in San Francisco, which I have been doing for 3 years now. I focus on concept art and development for animated movies, and I like writing and drawing comics.

Hi, I’m Malin Falch. I draw and write the fantasy-adventure webcomic Fjordson, and I study Visual development at the Academy of Art University.

The comic will always be high-quality, free, and relatively fast in its updates, but as a student away from my home in Norway I have to do commissions to help support myself. For the artists among you, I’d also like share the knowledge I’m gaining through my studies with the wonderful teachers at the Academy of Art. I'll do this by making art tutorials, progress pictures and videos of the comic and my art, and layered psd files. Most of these things will be available as rewards for your support.
