First and foremost, I want to thank all of my longtime readers from Eyes Through the Glass and Memory of the Star. Throughout this journey so far, I've come quite a long way, and now things are going even further!

For those who are unfamiliar, my work includes writing fiction, blogging, and journalism. I've thus far written on Eyes Through the Glass and Memory of the Star, two personal blogs. My awards include being Freshly Pressed twice on Wordpress, an award for Oustanding Student Journalism at the Community College of Baltimore County. I've written for two school newspapers, the CCBC Connection and the UMBC Retriever.

But I've also written for Splice Today on a regular basis as a freelancer with dozens of articles from loneliness in modern America, analyses of video games, and commentary on technological trends.

I have also written tabletop RPG content, with my first Fate Core setting, Shadow over Inowek, on DriveThruRPG.

So, what's this about? What am I intending to do with this Patreon? Well, I want to make things bigger and better. Longform articles and article series, more short stories, and even longer things like novels and novellas.

I also want to produce new content for tabletop RPGs, with an emphasis on Fate Core (though I am open to producing content for other systems as well).

Some Examples:
  • Splitting Rent: A shoeleather journalism project where I travel around to millennial households and highlight the experiences of people trying to get by.
  • World Half Empty: A post-peak oil Cthulhu Mythos setting for Fate Core. Navigate the dying suburbs of Harpcaster, Maryland and uncover the plans of a secretive cult with sinister intentions.
  • A longform article or article series about my personal experience with depression and my changing attitudes about it, the mental health system's flaws, and thoughts on building a society that doesn't produce depression.
