Hi everyone, Jason here from DiecastRestos. Thanks for visiting my Patreon page. I've set up this account in order to aid with the running and production costs for the videos I produce.

Background
A bit about me. In March 2019, I set up DiecastRestos after spending the latter part of 2018 watching a lot of YouTube videos from the likes of Marty's Matchbox MakeoversMatchbox GarageTimeRider, and later Danny's Diecast Disasters. Collectively, the videos these guys produce provided me with a bit of escapism from a bit of a rough ride personally. So in the new year, I decided to give model restoration a go. As some of you will be aware, I previously had no experience in modelling, little experience in recording videos, and certainly no experience in recording voiceovers!

I uploaded my first video on 24 March 2019, and before long I'd made ten videos and had over 500 subscribers. I started the project in order to better myself and record my progress, but reading the comments from viewers from all over the world has brought me so much happiness and encouragement, and I can't thank each and every viewer and subscriber enough.

Patronage
The costs associated with die-cast modelling are quite high, and I won't bore you by listing these here, if you're visiting this page I'm sure you're aware! I work a full-time job and have the usual day-to-day bits to arrange, but a patronage will help to improve the channel, resulting in better restorations and ultimately more high quality videos. Patrons will have the ability to have direct input into the videos, in particular custom jobs, helping choose colour, modifications, things like that!

Anyway, thanks for stopping by and thanks for taking the time to watch my videos!
